We’ve selected the latest technology in bifacial solar panels, a solution that maximizes energy capture by absorbing sunlight from both sides. This advanced technology has been implemented at numerous strategic points throughout the complex, allowing us to cover 70% of our total energy consumption. This not only represents significant savings but also a drastic reduction in our carbon footprint.

Ibiza, The Sun Island: Harnessing an Inexhaustible Natural Resource

The island of Ibiza is known for its almost 3,000 hours of sunshine a year, an inexhaustible natural resource that we’re taking full advantage of. Thanks to this exceptional climate, our installation will generate more than 200 MWh of clean energy annually. This production translates into an impressive reduction of approximately 50 tons of carbon dioxide (CO2) each year, directly contributing to the fight against climate change.

European Support for the Energy Transition in the Balearic Islands

This ambitious project was made possible thanks to funding from the PITEIB PIME Program (Investment Plan for the Energy Transition of the Balearic Islands for Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises). This program, supported by the European Union through the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan (#NextGenerationEU), has provided the necessary support to implement sustainable technologies, demonstrating that collaboration between the public and private sectors is key to accelerating the energy transition in the Balearic Islands.
